From academic guidance to residential life, a number of dedicated offices support students throughout their time at the University of Karachi.
Student Affairs & Guidance
The Students' Advisor (Dr. Nosheen Raza, Department of Sociology) and the Students' Guidance, Counseling & Placement Bureau support students throughout their academic journey, alongside the Students Financial Aid Office.
University Clinic
Hostels & Residential Life
Boys' Hostel (Provost: Dr. Mustafa Haider, Officiating) and the Aiwan-e-Liaquat Girls' Hostel (Provost: Dr. Sadia Mehmood; Resident Warden: Ms. Hameeda Manzoor) provide residential accommodation for students on campus.

Beyond academics, students can access sports facilities, health services and everyday campus amenities.
Sports Facilities & Events
The Directorate of Physical Education provides sports facilities to students of the University's own departments and its 110 affiliated colleges, and organises the tournaments that feed Karachi University's teams into national and international competition.

Tournaments & Student Achievement
The Directorate organises the Karachi University Inter-Departmental Tournament and the annual Inter-Collegiate Tournament across its affiliated colleges, feeding into the Pakistan Inter-University Championships.
University of Karachi students and alumni have gone on to represent Pakistan at the World Universiade, the SAF Games, the Islamic Solidarity Games and the Asian Games, alongside national championships in athletics, cricket, hockey, swimming and martial arts.
