The Confucius Institute at University of Karachi (CIUK) is a non-profit institution sponsored by the Chinese International Education Foundation, established through a signing ceremony held at the President House, Islamabad on 22 May 2013, between Sichuan Normal University and the University of Karachi. Since its inception, CIUK has grown into the largest Chinese language center in Pakistan by number of teachers, students and teaching sites.
