Keeping students, alumni and the public informed
Through its Public Relations Office and academic departments, the University of Karachi publishes an annual report, university-wide and departmental magazines, and the admissions Prospectus each year — the University's principal channels for sharing its achievements, research and campus life with students, alumni, donors and the wider public.
University Annual Report
The University's Annual Report summarises the academic year — new programmes, research output, convocation results, faculty achievements, campus development and financial statements presented to the Senate and Syndicate.
How to obtain a copy
Printed and digital copies of the latest Annual Report are available through the Public Relations Office. Departments and research institutes can request copies for their libraries and reading rooms.
University & Departmental Magazines
Alongside its research journals, the University sustains a tradition of literary and news magazines produced both centrally and within individual departments.
University-wide Magazine
The Public Relations Office coordinates a university-wide magazine covering convocation, seminars, sports, student achievements and campus news, distributed to faculty, students and affiliated colleges.
Departmental Magazines
Several teaching departments — including Urdu, Sindhi, English, Mass Communication and Islamic Learning — publish their own annual literary and academic magazines, edited and produced by faculty and students.

Prospectus
The University's admissions Prospectus details programmes, eligibility, merit criteria and fees for prospective students. Current editions are published each admissions cycle by the Directorate of Admissions.
