About the Annual Convocation

The Annual Convocation of the University of Karachi is the formal ceremony at which graduating students from every faculty — Arts & Social Sciences, Science, Islamic Studies, Pharmacy, Management & Administrative Sciences, Law, Education, Engineering and Medicine — are conferred their degrees. It is one of the University's most significant academic traditions, bringing together graduates, faculty and families to mark the completion of years of study.

Announcements for each year's Convocation — including registration dates, application forms, rehearsal schedules and any changes to the ceremony date — are issued by the Registrar's Office and posted through the University's official notices. Students should watch the News & Events page and their department notice boards for the current cycle's registration window.
