National Nematological Research Centre

The National Nematological Research Centre (NNRC) is Pakistan's only research and academic centre solely dedicated to the study of Nematology — a specialized field of biological sciences, including agriculture, concerned with nematode pests. Established in 1974, NNRC has grown into an efficient, dynamic and forward-looking research centre, promoting the subject through M.Phil./Ph.D. degree programs and generating highly trained manpower for the country. NNRC holds ISO 9001-2015 Certification for its diagnostic services and educational program.

Vision & Mission

  • Vision: To grow more food and healthy agricultural crops free from the attack of nematode pests.
  • Mission: Eradication of nematodes from agricultural crops, while promoting Nematology and producing highly trained manpower through M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programs.
