The Centre for Molecular Genetics (CMG) is an institute for basic and applied research in molecular genetics and genetic engineering at the University of Karachi. Its scientific activities focus on the exploration of natural biological phenomena and the contribution of genetics to biological macro- and micro-organisms, spanning bacterial genetics, biotechnological applications, and the genetics of human disease.
