The Centre for Molecular Genetics (C.M.G) is an institute for basic and applied research in Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering at the University of Karachi.In addition to research, it serves as a teaching facility for the Masters and Doctoral Programmes at the University,and also provides analytical consultancy services for the bacteriological and environmental monitoring.
