  • A Study of the Causative Factors of 11literacy and its Impact on Girls and Women (with special reference to Low Income areas of Karachi).
  • Physical Domestic Violence Against Women.
  • Compilation and Synthesis of Information related to Non-formal Basic Education, particularly for females in the province of Sindh.

Other Activities

  • To provide a forum for interaction for those engaged in teaching, research or action for women's development nationally and internationally, Pakistan Association for Women's Studies (PAWS) was founded in 1992. The Association has Organised a number of meetings, seminars, group discussions on the themes pertaining to women and development. PAWS has a re-gular section for publication and it publishes Pakistan Journal of Women's Studies: Alam-e-Niswan, a quarterly newsletter, Panghat, and an annual publication, Women's March on Women's International Day.

Overseas Links / Exchanges
