provide a forum for interaction for those engaged in teaching,
research or action for women's development nationally and internationally,
Pakistan Association for Women's Studies (PAWS) was founded
in 1992. The Association has Organised a number of meetings,
seminars, group discussions on the themes pertaining to women
and development. PAWS has a re-gular section for publication
and it publishes Pakistan Journal of Women's Studies: Alam-e-Niswan,
a quarterly newsletter, Panghat, and an annual publication,
Women's March on Women's International Day.
