Research in CS/IT at University of Karachi-First Ph.D in Computer Science awarded.

A research group in the field of Data Engineering and Knowledge Discovery using Artificial Intelligence is working under the supervision of Professor. Dr. S.M. Aqil Burney, HEC approved supervisor at the department of Computer Science, University of Karachi. Major. Afzal Saleemi has worked on "New Trends in Smoothing and Filtering of Temporal Data Using Information Technology" and his work has been approved for the award of PhD in Computer Science by BASR, University of Karachi under the supervision of Prof. Dr. S.M. Aqil Burney and Afzal Saleemi became first scholar who award PhD in Computer Science by University of Karachi.
