UoK - Annual Convocation 2008

The Annual Convocation 2008 of the university held on Monday, December 29, 2008 at the Valika Cricket Stadium, University of Karachi. It was presided over by Sindh’s senior minister for education Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq who is also the pro-chancellor of the university.

Degrees were conferred on as many as 750 students who did their Bachelors, Masters and MPhil/PhD from the university in 2007.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui commended the graduating students and their parents hoping that they would work selflessly for the progress and betterment of the country.

The convocation was also attended by members of the senate and syndicate of the university, members of diplomatic corps, eminent citizens, faculty members, parents and graduating students.
