Korean delegation visits UBIT/DCS, UoK

A delegation of a Korean IT organization visited UBIT / DCS on Monday, to discuss matters of mutual interest for creating IT services especially students’ identification using RFID technology and other possible activities at UoK in co-ordination with UBIT / DCS, UoK. Prof. Dr. S.M. Aqil Burney presented information on UBIT, DCS and ongoing projects of IT at University of Karachi such as High Speed Fiber Optic Based LAN with Wireless Computing Support at University of Karachi.

The Vice Chancellor University of Karachi Prof. Dr. Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui was chairing the meeting held at UBIT / DCS and invited the Korean Company to extend co-operation and co-ordination in developing IT education / services at University of Karachi. The delegation assured for future cooperation in this regard.

Dr. Lian Jeog Seok and Mr. Cybil Yoo were the members of the delegation.
