In
order to maintain the standard of education, extension lectures &
seminars are regularly held in which eminent speakers and professionals
are invited and various current and related topics are deliberated.
Publication
The Department has its own biannual prestigious journal of
Public Administration which is a comprehensive chronicle of the past
issues.
Internship
Internship is a part of regular academic session which is usually
availed at the end of previous and final year. Organizations like Citibank,
ANZ Grind lays Bank, MCB, National Bank of Pakistan, Export Promotion
Bureau, Lever Brothers Pakistan, Hino Pak, ICI, Chartered Bank, HBL,
State Bank, Abbot Pharmaceutical, IBM and Gillett offer internship to
students of Public Administration.
Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance is provided to deserving-cum-meritorious
students. Recently, Sumitomo Corporation Japan offered $300 per annum
to a few students as a part of merit scholarship program.
Library
The Department of Public Administration has a well equipped
computer laboratory which provides assistance in almost all aspects
of the use of information processing facilities. The students are given
ample opportunities to develop and improve upon their skills in the
computer laboratory.
