Students
of Department of Statistics also participated in extra curricular activities
whole heartedly both within and outside the department. The students
besides conducting various activities in the Department brought out
Souvenir on several occasions. During 1970-71 Students' presented a
rostrum to the Department which was badly needed. The Departmental Hockey
team won the Inter departmental title for several years. Students also
participated in Poster and other Competitions conducted within the University.
