Current Projects
1. Music of Sindh
A Research study on the topic of “Sindhi Music, with special reference to Shah Jo Raag” conducted by a well known scholar of Musicology Mr. Shaikh Aziz is in the process of composing. Dr. Fahmida Hussain has edited the script. The process is expected to be completed and published in a few months time.
2. Encyclopaedia of Shah jo Risalo
With the approval of the Advisory Committee of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Chair a three year project of “Encyclopaedia of Shah Jo Risalo” has been launched under the guidance of the renowned scholar Prof. Dr. Ghulam Ali Allana as its Project Director. The Director of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Chair, Dr. Fahmida Hussain is supervising the research conducted by searchers and researchers which will then be edited by a panel of Editors especially engaged for the project.
The following is the list of persons engaged in the Project.
