UoK - Department of Political Science : Introduction

Political Science department is one of the major department in the Faculty of Arts , University of Karachi which is a premiere center of learning and research standards in the subcontinent. The dept mentions the high academic and research standards of the university and has appear 500 students at graduate and post graduate level. The curriculum is periodically reversed and new courses are offered providing students the opportunity of knowledge on new subjects in the field, the primary motive being academic excellence as well as preparation for demands in the job market . Apart from the graduate and post graduate classes the department also offers a diploma course in local govt. and has many students enrolled in M. Phil./P. hd program. The medium of instruction is English & Urdu. We have a highly trained faculty responsive to student demands and Conner cant with the subject.
