Year)= MS: BS/M.A. Mass Communication Teaching and Assessment Mass communication courses are of two categories theoretical and practical. Apart from class lectures, students are required to do tutorials and assignments with appropriate weightage in work. Practical courses include regular lab work and students are taught different media skills, and are required to produce various media content as assignments. It is also mandatory for each student to complete 180 hours of internships at media institutes. A certificate on satisfactory completion of internship enables students to apply for a marks sheet and a degree.
