UoK - Department of Islamic History : Seminar library

A departmental library is housed in the Seminar Reading Room of this department with a collection of about 1000 books. It is meant to provide reading facilities to the students of this department in addition to the General Library of Karachi University. In departmental library a variety of titles are found concerning different courses of both under-graduate and post-graduate classes. At present books are not issued from this library but now it has been planned to extend, at least, an over-night issuance facility to the students during the current semester of 1991-92 session on experimental basis. If it is proved successful more facilities would be arranged by the department.
