Academic Activities
1. An International Seminar on "Contemporary Central Asia" organized by the Department in collaboration with the Hanns SeidaL Foundation, Islamabad on October 30-31, 1994.
2. On 15th September 1996 the Department organized a National Seminar on "Pakistan's Security Concerns and Regional Peace".
3. A two-day International Seminar on Conflicts and Conflict Resolution in the Post Cold War Era: Lessons for South Asia" held in collaboration with Hanns Seidal Foundation on December 1-2,1996.
4. A one day Workshop on "Internal and External Dynamics of South Asian Security" was held on 8th of December, 1996.
5. A two-day International Workshop on "Refugees in the Post-Cold War Era" was organized by the Department of International Relations, in collaboration with Hanns Seidal Foundation in September 1997.
6. A one day Workshop on "Humanitarian Int. Law" was held on March 3, 1998 in collaboration with ICRC and UNHCR.
7. A one day Int. Workshop on "Peace by Process: Lessons for South Asia from the Middle East Peace Process" was held on 28th February 1998.
8. "Pak-German Scholars Dialogue on Central Asia Today" was held on 3rd June 1998 in collaboration with Hanns Seidal Foundation.
