UoK - Department of Health & Physical Education : Objective

To create opportunities for higher learning, in the subject of Health and Physical Education at post graduate level.
To inculcate the observance of law and dignity of labor in the students through health and physical education.
To integrate health and physical education with the general educational set-up of the university.
To promote physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual growth of the youth in a suitable environment.
To inculcate a sense of self-awareness, self-confidence and self reliance in the youth.
To encourage the students to make purposeful beneficial use of their surplus energies and leisure.
To develop such qualities as to make an individual a patriotic, responsible, disciplined, competent and productive citizen.
To develop in the students the capacity for intelligent self-direction in matters of health and recreation.
To encourage personal hygiene and good living for fitness and well being.
To offer activities leading to character building, development of co-operative attitudes, behavioral adjustments and qualities of leadership and
sportsmanship.
To offer programmes leading to the learning of skills and techniques of various games and sports.
To highlight the significance and importance of Islamic rituals with reference to movement.
