Students
have to study some compulsory courses like Instrumental and Analytical
Techniques, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Economics, Polymer and
Textile Technology, Organic Chemical Industries and Inorganic Chemical
Industries etc. In M.Sc. (Final) they are allowed to have optional course
from the following
1- Polymer and Textile Technology.
2- Food Science and Technology.
3- Metallurgy and Material Science.
4- Organic Technology ( Petroleum, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical
etc. )
5- Inorganic technology ( Cement, Glass, Ceramics, Fertilizer and Fine
Chemicals etc. )
6- Physical Chemical Principles.
7- Environmental Pollution.
In addition to these optional courses, every student has to work for
eight weeks in one industry and submit a report; then he has to appear
in an oral examination. A limited number of meritorious students are
allowed to carry out research work under supervision of a teacher.
