UoK - Evening Program : Eligibility Criteria

The admission to Diploma / Masters Degree in the Evening Program shall be granted on the basis of academic record at the graduation level. Tables I & II show the details for admission criteria for all courses of studies.
A candidate must have passed the pre-requisite examination securing at least 45% marks from a recognized Board/University with relevant subjects at graduate / postgraduate level. Grace / Condonation marks shall not be counted. A student placed in 3rd division or obtaining less than 45% marks in the pre-requisite examination cannot be admitted to the University.
For admission to any department in the Evening Program, the University rules for morning program are uniformly applicable. However, the condition of having passed the pre-requisite examination during the last five years has been relaxed for the Evening Program.
A candidate already having a Masters degree is eligible for regular admission to the Evening Program for a second Masters degree.
A candidate engaged in a gainful employment during the day is eligible for admission as a regular student of the Evening Program.
