First Semester - 2008

Introduction Day	July 1st, 2008
Teaching	July 2nd to November 29, 2008
	(No classes during holy month of Ramazan)
Preparatory leave for Examinations	November 30th to December 2nd, 2008
Semester Examinations	December 3rd to December 20th, 2008

Second Semester - 2009

Teaching	January 1st to May 9th, 2009
Preparatory leave for Examinations	May 10th to May 13th, 2009
Semester Examinations	May 14th to May 30th, 2009
Summer Holidays	June 1st to June 30th, 2009

Note:-

The University of Karachi shall observe all Federal and Provincial gazetted holidays, but examinations shall be held as per schedule.
